On October 15, the 2018 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia (ITMA) opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As on-site logistics service providers, Expotransworld Ltd. ("Expotransworld") and Shanghai Exportrans Ltd. ("Shanghai Expotrans") provided a package logistics solutions to domestic and foreign exhibits and on-site installation and dismantle for the exhibition.
As the last commercial exhibition before the first China International Import Expo, ITMA has attracted extensive attention. The functional government authorities such as public security, fire control, quality supervision and security supervision put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions on the operation of the exhibition, and the team has benefited a lot.
Containers loaded with foreign exhibits begun to officially enter the inspection area of the North Square of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) since October 5.
The joint headquarters of Expotransworld and Shanghai Expotrans is located in the inspection area of the North Square. As the central hub, it is responsible for freight statistics, vehicle dispatch, exhibit barge and so on.
Since October 8, the installation of seven exhibition halls was kicked off. The joint team of Expotransworld and XPTRS worked together to guarantee the on-site operation in an orderly manner
During the exhibition installation, the team had the honor to participate in two comprehensive drillings for CIIE, and quickly adjusted the installation plan on the day of the drilling.
